HCTC is a culinary training centre where a wide variety of courses are offered depending on the needs of the students. Participants of the courses are in the culinary field and there are in all 52 registered courses approved by
Mauritius Qualification Authority (MQA). The centre can accommodate up to 10-15 students in each group. Moreover, HCTC consists of a well equipped kitchen which is used for
demonstrations. HCTC can be categorised into two main sections which are as follows:
